North Texas Giving Day 2010 is quickly approaching! Dallas Challenge and DonorBridge ask you to GET UP and GIVE on Wednesday, September 8, 2010, from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
North Texas Giving Day is a day for you to support our agency from the comfort of your own computer! Between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Spetember 8, Dallas Challenge will receive matching funds when donations are made online through DonorBridge. This helps your gift go farther!
Simply visit www.donorbridgetx.org to donate to Dallas Challenge by searching the DonorBridge nonprofit database. A minimum donation of $25 will ensure matching funds and more, all to help provide the hope our young people need to succeed in school and in life.
The matching funds are double that of last year's inaugural North Texas Giving Day. Potential funders are still being approached, but at last count there is $700,000 of matching funds for the 2010 North Texas Giving Day just waiting to be allocated, including a lead gift of $500,000 from The Communities Foundation of Texas. That is great incentive to GET UP and GIVE this September 8th!
In addition to matching funds, Dallas Challenge has the chance to win each of the following incentives offered by the Dallas Foundation:
1) $10,000 to the single nonprofit organization that receives the largest cumulative dollar amount in donations.
2) $10,000 to the single nonprofit organization that receives donations from the greatest number of individual donors.
3) $10,000 to the nonprofit organization that receives the 1,929th donation.
4) $10,000 to the nonprofit organization that receives the 2,010th donation.
